My Favorite Things

As my business has grown, it has put me in the very fortunate position of being able to do one of my favorite things — support local music, musicians, and music education. This year, I have chosen to support the inaugural @connectionsconcerts series, founded by Portland area pianist and teacher, @vibrantsophie. Sophie and I have never met in person, but I noticed that we seem to share a lot of the same values and the same taste in music. More than once, I have felt down only to open up instagram and come across a video of her playing one of my favorite classical pieces, pieces that are often not “popular” or well known, but have spoken to my soul in some way. It’s strange to feel connected to someone as a musical kindred spirit of sorts, but that’s part of what the Connections Concerts series is all about and I am thrilled to be a small part of it. S/O to my amazing designer @karakonstudio; I’m so glad I had her in my corner to put these beautiful ads together that represent my company so well.
